    5+2 AXIS SYSTEM ANATOMY

5+2-Axis Cutting, Milling and Shaping Platform

See how the frame, cutting head, CNC, worktable and optional handling systems work as one platform.

The heavy bridge and frame carry the cutting assembly. TPI oil-immersed guides stay lubricated and protected from water and slurry for stable long-term travel.

The head coordinates blade rotation and tilt for straight cuts, mitres and shaped work. It accepts 300-420 mm blades and uses a 15 or 22 kW water-cooled main motor. The 5+2-axis spindle operates at 0-6,000 rpm.

CNC control manages programs, tool paths and coordinated axes. EtherCAT connects the control and drives, while international-brand bus-type absolute servos retain position reference for repeatable multi-axis operation.

The 3200/3600 x 2000 mm table supports full slabs and finished parts. The elevating platform eases loading, while an optional rubber surface reduces resonance.

The camera establishes slab position. A heavy-duty suction cup moves workpieces up to 200 kg and helps avoid overcutting. The side-mounted milling cutter supports drilling, slotting, engraving and chamfering without frequent tool changes; availability depends on configuration.

Optional guards contain debris while maintaining visibility. For inner and outer holes, edging and shaped parts, the optional profiling table uses a high-strength honeycomb structure for secondary machining.

    5+2-AXIS MOTION CONTROL

RTCP Keeps the Tool Center Point on the Programmed Path

RTCP compensates for rotary-axis movement so the tool center follows the programmed path during multi-angle cutting.

    01 / COMPENSATE

    Automatic Tool-Center Compensation

RTCP adjusts the commanded axis positions as the rotary axes move.

    02 / COORDINATE

    Coordinated Tilt and Rotation

The cutting head changes angle while the tool center follows the programmed path.

    03 / CONTROL

    Built for 5+2-Axis Motion

Supports controlled multi-angle cutting and shaped tool paths on the 5+2-axis bridge saw.

    BRIDGE SAW SYSTEMS AND OPTIONS

    Machine Systems and Workflow Options

Review the cutting, milling, vision, handling, control, worktable and safety systems available by model.

    Water-Cooled Main Motor

Delivers stable high-load sawing for granite, marble, quartz stone and sintered stone.

    300–420 mm Diamond Blade

Handles slab sizing, straight cuts and mitre cutting across different stone materials.

    Independent 5.5 kW Milling Cutter

Mounted beside the saw head for drilling, slotting, carving and internal cutouts without frequent tool changes.

    Independent Saw & Milling Inverters

Adjust blade and milling speeds independently to suit different materials and processes.

    Camera Vision System

Captures the slab surface for visual positioning, layout alignment and faster origin setting.

    CAD Drawing Import

    Heavy-Duty Suction Cup

Lifts and repositions cut pieces up to 200 kg, reducing manual handling and helping prevent overcutting.

Integrated Cut, Mill & Move Workflow

The milling cutter prevents blade overcutting, while the suction cup repositions cut pieces—reducing slab waste and improving material utilization.

    CNC Control System

Centralizes sawing, milling, positioning and program execution through an operator-friendly interface.

    EtherCAT Bus

Enables high-speed communication and synchronized multi-axis control for complex machining paths.

    Absolute-Encoder Servo Motors

Retain axis position after power loss and support synchronized motion for faster restart.

    TPI Oil-Immersed Linear Guides

Maintain continuous lubrication and protection in wet, abrasive stone-processing environments.

    Elevating / Tilting Platform

Simplifies slab loading and unloading while reducing manual handling around the worktable.

    Optional Rubber Work Platform

Dampens vibration to improve machine stability, machining accuracy and finished-part quality.

    Optional Profiling Worktable

Features a high-strength honeycomb surface for inner and outer holes, edge shaping and profiling.

    Optional Safety Guards

Contain chips and cutting debris while maintaining clear visibility of the working area.

Send your material, slab size, thickness, drawing and required processes for an engineering recommendation.

    Questions Before You Choose

Review the main decisions before requesting a proposal.

Choose by the most complex finished part. A 3-axis model covers regular slab sizing and chamfer cutting; double-blade models suit repeat brittle-slab sizing; 4+1-axis and 5+2-axis systems add holes, grooves, milling, profiles and shaped work.

The catalogue lists a 3200/3600 x 2000 mm working table and 300-420 mm blades. Listed cutting capacity is 0-50 mm for the 3-axis, double-blade and 4+1-axis models, and 0-90 mm for the 5+2-axis model. Final scope is confirmed against your material and drawing.

CAD import is available on the listed 4+1-axis and 5+2-axis configurations. Send a DXF, DWG, PDF or part image to confirm file support, programming workflow and camera requirements.

A bridge saw handles slab cutting, external shaping, chamfering and basic milling, while precision sink cut-outs, edge finishing and polishing may require a CNC machining center or bullnose polishing machine.

Share the material, maximum slab size and thickness, finished-product drawing, required processes, expected output, destination country, power supply and available workshop space.

HOYUN reviews sample cuts, machine functions and the final configuration before packing. Confirm the power supply, workshop space and site requirements so installation, training and after-sales support can be coordinated.
